At Liverpool Physio we provide five specialist types of physiotherapy:
- Musculoskeletal Problems
Our musculoskeletal physiotherapists specialise in assessing, diagnosing and treating muscular and joint problems. This may include general aches and pains, musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries.
- Paediatric Physiotherapy
Our neurological physiotherapists look at optimising the quality of life for individuals with conditions affecting the brain and spinal cord. Neurological conditions include brain/ spinal cord traumatic injury, Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis and stroke.
- Neurological Conditions
Our paediatric physiotherapists work with children 0-18 years old with various conditions, turning treatment into fun and games. Paediatric conditions include Cerebral Palsy, developmental delay, hyper mobility and muscular dystrophy.
- Surgical Physiotherapy
Our surgical physiotherapists work with patients for preparation and rehabilitation for various different types of surgeries. Physiotherapy post-surgery is very important to re-gain strength and return to normal activities. - Vestibular Physiotherapy
Our Vestibular physiotherapists are experts at treating conditions affecting balance and dizziness. Whilst these are common problems, they are often misdiagnosed by GPs.
